I had an old restance in Székesfehérvár a Patent Gastro Barby the KGB who are still Rolling I have known each other since. Now I have finally managed to get down to their event, Patent Friday, lined with excellent burgers, smoked meats and craft beers.
The place itself is located in the inner courtyard of an older building unit that also houses an office building, and the series will open its doors on a predicted Friday, with a move-out and music. This in itself results in a very eclectic atmosphere, as in every corner of the inner courtyard, which is not used for this purpose, we can discover people eating food or drinking beer, and the base was provided by my hitherto unknown friend Ernő Piaf on a pleasant electronic-jazz line ).
By default, the Patent sells a lot of good little burgers, as well as pho soups, and even though a lot of them have only gotten this far, that’s not why we came. Whoever might not know, the KGB in this case abbreviates Katka-Gergő-BBQ, who have leveled themselves fairly on the subject in recent years, was our joint event in Tállya, so a good relationship was also given for a little joint collaboration.
This is how our common burger was born, with a little homemade pimento sauce with cheddar cheese, cream cheese and cherry peppers on the beef patty, which went into the bun sprinkled with sesame. The bottom of the burger made in the ammunition poker was smeared with the team’s signature barbecue sauce, but that’s not the end of it, as a cowboy-dill-coleslaw even fooled the lineup, not to mention the freshly spilled brisket cubes and spring onions.
It’s a pretty decadent compilation, but if that wasn’t enough for someone, there was of course a barbecue in the house as well. There was also duck breast, the already mentioned brisket, several kinds of homemade sausages, as well as macaroni and coleslaw with cheese.
The smoke permeated the flavors, I tasted everything, and I have to say, if you haven’t been to this yet, be sure to look down one Friday – who knows, maybe even I will be there. Oh yeah, and the craft beer supply is also a parade, so for food and drink – it will be a patent!
